The Elaphite archipelago consists of thirteen larger and smaller islands, but only three of them are inhabited: Koločep, Lopud, and Šipan. All three are small, separate worlds, large enough to provide, in their own way, everything that is necessary for a comfortable stay.

The charm of exploring Elaphiti Island comes effortlessly if you choose a midsize boat. The word “Elaphite” comes from the Greek word for “deer” as the arrangement of the islands’ reefs, bays, and isthmuses resemble a set of magnificently ramified deer horns.

If you opt for a private tour, there is an opportunity of visiting some hidden caves or swimming on the sandy beach of Sunj and walking around the villages. For example, you can take a walk on the island of Lopud, which were home to two monasteries, thirty churches, and several noble palaces, although only remnants are visible today.

  • Walk on the Koločep island
  • Enjoying the wild beauty of the island of Šipan
  • Sunbathing on the sandy beaches of Lopud

This tour is a perfect getaway from the rush of the city centre and you can enjoy your day swimming, sightseeing, walking, or just enjoying the sun on the boat, the beach, or the numerous riviera terraces, observing the local population as they run their daily errands.
